A Igreja Presbiteriana Nacional, sediada em Brasília desde a fundação da Capital Federal em 1960, tem um compromisso com a Bíblia Sagrada, como regra de fé e de prática, adotando os Padrões de Westminster (Confissão de Fé, Breve Catecismo e Catecismo Maior) como exposição fiel dos temas abordados nas Escrituras.
A IPN é jurisdicionada pela Igreja Presbiteriana do Brasil.Procuramos desenvolver um ministério como igreja, de maneira a influenciar vidas, famílias e a própria sociedade, por meio da pregação e aplicação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo, tendo em vista os grandes dilemas da vida contemporânea.Para dar expressão a esse ideal, temos adotado o seguinte norte ministerial: “CONSTRUINDO VIDAS (para a Glória de Deus)”, o qual se alicerça sobre os cinco pilares: ADORAÇÃO, ENSINO, COMUNHÃO, SERVIÇO E EVANGELISMO, que são também indicadores do desenvolvimento espiritual de cada um e de todos nós e nossas famílias.The Church National Presbyterian, based in Brasilia since the founding of the Federal Capital in 1960, is committed to the Bible as the rule of faith and practice, adopting the Westminster Standards (Confession, Shorter Catechism and Large Catechism) as fair review of the issues addressed in Scripture.
